Please be informed that effective 1st December 2020, the football stadium and synthetic track facilities at the SPT Sports & Recreation Complex, MBSP Jalan Betek, have been taken over by the Perbadanan Stadium Dan Kawasan Lapang Pulau Pinang (PSDKLPP).
     
Therefore, any inquiries regarding the booking of the football stadium and synthetic track facilities at the SPT Sports & Recreation Complex, Jalan Betek, should be directed to :-

Please note that all bookings for sports complex / MBSP hall such as Badminton Court, Tennis, Netball, Football, Lawn Bowling and Hockey, please contact 04 - 5758871 (MBSP Sports Complex, Bertam) or 04 - 5497488 (Sports and Public Facilities Unit, Community Relations Department). However, for bookings of halls and sports complex for carnivals, tournaments and celebrations which involve some prior preparations and the usage of equipments, please liaise directly with the Community Relations Department at 04 - 5497488.
     
Please bring along your payment receipts (if payments have already been made) before coming to MBSP.

INFORMATION
     
Effective from 1st September 2025, rental rates for sports complex, halls and stadium will be as follows :
     
MBSP SPORTS COMPLEX, BERTAM, SPU
MBSP SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL COMPLEX, SPT
DATO' HAJI AHMAD BADAWI HALL, SPU
     
Deposits are required for the following :
     
Deposits are applicable for daily slots (8 hours) or a full day rental, and for hourly slots (if its being used for competitions) payment of deposits are as follows :

For rental of PLACE (section / area / site) of RM 1000.00 and below in total, deposit will be half (50%) of the total rent.

For rental of PLACE (section / area / site) of RM 1000.00 - RM 5000.00 in total, deposit will be RM 1000.00.

For rental of PLACE (section / area / site) of more than RM 5000.00 in total, deposit will be RM 3000.00.

Partial payment / consessions will be given directly for :
     
 
item
Activities organised by governement agencies / statutory bodies.
     
 
item
Government Education / learning instituition, registered Sports Club / organisation.
     
 
item
Member of Parliament, State Representative, MBSP Council Members, Club / Society and MBSP Departments.
     
2.
The following will be exempted for payment :
     
 
item
Sports activities organised by Clubs under the Social Department and Welfare Society, MBSP Sports and Social Society (PESUKA).
     
 
item
Training / meetings / workshops / seminar / course program organised by MBSP Department / Society / Club.
     
 
Consessions / exemptions for 1 and 2 are only for non - profit activities and not applicable for bookings of personal use.
